Secrets of Essential Oils Divulged

Hello everyone and welcome to the blog for Remedies Shoe Inserts!
You may be wondering how essential oils can benefit your feet? Well, I am here to help inform you!

There are many ways essential oils can benefit your feet, but the three main ways are

1. Essential oils act faster and more efficiently on the skin

You may not know this, but the soles of your feet have much larger pores than the rest of our body. Shocking, right? The soles of your feet suck up the oils quickly into your bloodstream. When applied to the larger pores of your foot soles, these oils can pass through the epidermis into your body and begin working their magic faster and more efficiently.

2. Essential oils are gentler on your skin

Essential oils are pure and natural and are used in foods, directly on the skin, in drinks, for hair, and more. Essential oils are perfect for helping with odor and healing the skin because it is so gentle. The skin on your feet is even less sensitive purely because the bottom of our feet is designed to take their fair share of abuse. The lower sensitivity of the skin on your soles means you can often apply essential oils undiluted. It also makes a great location to apply “hot” oils like oregano or peppermint, which can sometimes cause issues for people elsewhere.

3. Feet soles don’t contain sebaceous glands

Along with the palms of your hands, the soles of your feet are the only part of your body which don’t contain sebaceous glands. This is beneficial because it can act as an impediment to the essential oils which you want to absorb into your body. The absence of sebum on the soles of your feet means they are the perfect place to apply essential oils. When applying the essential oil, wearing essential oil infused socks, or using essential oil infused inserts, the oils go through your blood stream 10 times faster. Resulting in better feeling and smelling feet.

ESSENTIAL OILS

Essential oils help reduce odors and benefit the foot by directly entering your bloodstream. Different types of essential oils benefit your feet and body in different ways. If you didn’t know already, essential oils are amazing for feet health in general. Essential oils like Tea Tree, Chamomile, and Eucalyptus are brilliant for treating ailments such as infections, inflammations, stank, sweat, and itchy feet. Now, don't ditch your diffuser, and keep applying peppermint oil to your temples to ease an unruly headache. But before bed tonight, try rubbing a few drops of lavender over the soles of your feet and see how you feel come morning. The beautiful thing about holistic beauty treatments is that you can test them out and use oils on your body and not have to worry because they are natural. See if they work for you and let me know!

How it Works

Below are videos which shoe show the ease with which the shoe inserts are secured and removed from the shoe. When wearing heels, I recommend securing the insert to the heel and rolling it down to the front. When wearing boots or booties, I slide it into the toe without securing and lay it toward the back then smooth it down and secure. Removing the insert is as easy as pulling it off.
